PARIS - France will take measures in coming hours to ensure the safety of its military and civilian personnel in northeastern Syria, the French president's office said in a statement on Monday after an urgent defense cabinet meeting.

France, which is part of the U.S.-led coalition fighting Islamic State in the region, has special forces operating in the area.

It is estimated there are hundreds of French special forces in Northern Syria.

What's also interesting is that measures will also be adopted to "strengthen the security of the national territory in this context".

What is France's business in Syria

They want Assad gone and a zionist puppet like El Sisi put in as leader of the Syrian regime. So the Syrians can eat from garbage piles for the next 50 years.

Would Pakistan suffer British occupiers of Pakistan today. Why would any Syrian suffer a frenchie goon soldier occupying Syria.

'Don't worry, france means to divide Syria with the oil to the Kurds and the desert to the Arabs'.

They want Assad gone

That is right.

and a zionist puppet like El Sisi put in as leader of the Syrian regime.

I don't think Sisi is a puppet.

The real puppet was Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood movement. When he was alive, the Western governments supported him in ways including calling him a "democratically elected leader" and they used to support him even when the Egyptian people overthrew his government and he was jailed.

The Turks should take care of the French. It is beyond hilarious how a proper crusader nation is taking keen interest in Syria. Pak should standby in my opinion and help the Turkish forces if push came to shove.

Turks are Turks, whereas French are pussies. So yes, the Turks will take care of the French.

If you say so.
