In Puncak region alone there are around 3000 Afghan. Afghan refugees spreads across many region in Indonesia.

Just recently an Afghan killed an Indonesian man in Papua Province. He has affair with the man wife. Not talking bad about Afghan people as there are always bad people in every race, but it just show the wide spread of Afghan refugees in Indonesia.

Believe me I had a related argument a few years ago with a German American lady friend when the Syria war was in the news a lot. She asked me: 'Why don't Muslim countries take the refugees from Syria?' I said Turkey is hosting hundreds of thousands, if not in millions. She said: 'Oh, I didn't know that'.

Apparently, Fox News (and she is really a Trumpeter and wore the MAGA hat in 2016 and 2020), only told her the images of the refugees fleeing to Greece from Turkey.

I think it is more of a case of them not being able to just walk over the old Durand line, like in the old days. Finally, after 75 years, we actually have the semblance of a functional border with Afghanistan, thanks in large part to the Fencing of the almost entire length of the border with Afghanistan, and some areas with Iran as well. I would advocate doing the same on the eastern border with the Vedic empire.
