Well, it reminds me a quote of well respected former SC judge Mr Durrab Patel who once said that ''when whole nation celebrates the military takeover on the streets then you can not expect that few judges sitting in their chamber will stop the military takeover with their pen''.

Ah yes, our nation is fickle. It distributes sweets at any change of government, legal or illegal, and soon thereafter is out on the streets protesting. No patience at all for proper institutions to take root, but we want the results anyway.

Hassan Nisar once said that people of Pakistan welcomed military coups because our political leaders had been so corrupt and disconnected with their electorate prior to coup, that for the masses, a disciplined military leader was always a far better choice than ANY elected official

Agreed but tragedy is Military ruler can not govern the country properly either.

This is in my opinion, also the real tragedy of Pakistan.

Yes, that way every dictator brings own version of democracy, make a new party and go after the election. Problem for them is, It is easy to takeover but getting out is always become a big problem for them.

You are pro-evolution, I know. But problems in Pakistan are so deeply rooted in the political system, that even if we had these so-called democratic elections every 5 years for the next century, nothing substantial would come out of it. 5 years of PPP government only regressed Pakistan to even worse state than it was where Musharraf left.
