The only country to which Pakistan is blocking Hindu-stan's access is Afghanistan.

All the rest are connected to Hindu-stan.

As far as this is concerned, Once the trade corridor comes through;
Neither Pakistan, nor Afghanistan will need access to Hindu-stan.

Um...India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are deepening trade among themselves.

China is a budding world power. Containing India is important, but not that important that they will include Pakistan in an official alliance of sorts. That will discourage future prospects for such an org. China will stay close to Pakistan - but ONLY to keep India 'in check'. For her world ambitions, Pakistan has little no role in China's gameplan.

South Asia is not priority of Pakistan now, as Afghanistan is top priority as it is more important now for national interest, economically SARAAC countries have nothing to offer much to Pakistan.

Modi is playing its cards well in International Arena, specially in South Asia which will help them to contain expending Chinese influence (PLAN) in Indian Ocean, but Pakistan is not much effected to it as it don't have much in terms of trade or economic relations with those countries.

What Pakistan have done well in years is getting their relations better with Russia which is why now US can't just abandon Pakistan like they may want to.

India is only interested in connectivity for itself but not between other south Asian countries. It will hold out promises to others but never implement them. Pakistan is the only country that India cannot bully so will not bother to make it part of its plans.

Fair enough, the Indo-Pakistan "issues" have long been the reason SAARC has gone absolutely nowhere and is the joke of the world especially when you compare it to ASEAN. If India is so able to cut Pakistan out of the loop and get the other nations on board this is a win-win and this region can finally start going somewhere as a whole. One day (in the distant future) Pakistan will have the right people at the top and the right sentiment in the country who will appreciate the situation for what it is and will then be asking to get back in the loop. Until then there is no reason for the entire region to stall because of bi-lateral issues between India and Pakistan.


Let's see what happens, enough of this jingoism.
