Ford still selling mustang and endeavor fully imported and knock down assembled kits. Research it’s cost in India and come back again

My first car was Ford, Ford kuga. The quality is very good. I have used it for 6 years and my wife has used it for 2 years, a total of 8 years. It has not had any serious faults.
Ford's biggest problem is that they have been unable to reduce production costs, so its price can't compete with Chinese cars and Korean cars. What Ford needs most now is a low-cost production base, not a potential market.
If prices continue to lack competitiveness, Ford may not have time to wait for the new market to mature.

These numbers are too low for the size of population. But still nice to see that Tata and Mahindra are able to keep up with Japanese/Korean makers.

Their management has themselve to blame, Kia and MG which entered India just couple or so years ago have raced ahead far past them. Can't really blame Govt when all their competitors are flourishing.

Probably the local brands offer more value for money hence Ford cannot compete with it. Indian automobile sector is huge.
