What's new

For first time, India to name Pakistan in fake currency racket

Indians are really annoying, most of the time their jokes are not even funny. I'm glad Taimi Khan targets them on a regular basis.

Surprised at such a casual remark from a senior member.

The IMF and the WB can do a lot. If blacklisted, do you understand what it would mean for your economy which is already running on funds doled out by these agencies??

I think it would hurt a lot more than what an international law enforcement agency could do such as the Interpol!!!

those organizations profit through interest earned (i.e. interest bearing notes & accounts payable to them)

;)

and besides --- short-term pain, long-term gain! Pakistan is more than capable to stand up on her own, of course if and only if the correct leadership is in place.

p.s. as far as I know, World Bank only blacklists companies; not countries. Interestingly enough, there are 3 hindustany companies on that list --nothing from Pakistan is blacklisted :)

I think the news is fake. The source 'official' is too suspicious and uses undiplomatic language. Not quite an 'official' trait.

could be......i havent heard officials talking about it before, though i have seen some indians on the internet who do assert that Pakistan is somehow involved in this fake currency printing business

The article directly points to one very infamous gangster. What puzzles me is, what can stop that gang from printing counterfeit Pakistani currency too?
Isn't this also gonna hurt or is already hurting Pakistani economy?

Still it is still news, lets see the follow up.

International bodies cares. :)

Its a True News and a Real fact.

I have seen the notes, and they are really very nicely faked.

Even the paper used is of the same standards.

I think it is high time India introduces more counterfeit measures on the notes.

I would support for Polymer notes like in Australia. Long lasting and hard to counterfeit.

The same organizations that your leaders are begging from to keep your economy afloat.

At least we do not have 344,000,000 million people below the poverty line in our country neither do have hundreds and thousands of slums like India does.:pakistan:

india takes more foreign aid than Pakistan does, so just leave it yaar don't feed these indian trolls

by the way, as per internationalized standards, the number you cites is substantially larger

I honestly don't believe IMF or WB will take any decisive action against Pakistan. China holds tremendous influence with IMF and WB, and I don't think China would allow it's key strategic partner to be "black-listed". Just doesn't seem realistic.

Again -- WB and IMF do not blacklist countries.

countries that default have their debts rescheduled; action can only be taken against derelict countries that dont meet financial obligations or fail to adhere to agreements --and the sternest of action would merely be no future loans. Pakistan has been commended by WB and IMF time and time again.

only companies can be blacklisted by them, not countries.....therefore these indians are living a fool's dream if they think they can do anything about it

again, let them keep telling themselves they can....in reality, they can do just about diddly-squat. I'd also ask them to share this ''evidence'' which is ''all in one bag'' with the world.

otherwise it's best for us to "ROFL" and for them to "STFU"

:woot::cheers:

Pakistan did this.
They promoted that.
They caused this.
They are answerable to that

Locus classicus!

it's counter-intuitive if you want anything done; why? Coz they are numb to all the critisism by now :D

got evidence? share it or go to interpol.

Until then, talk is cheap. Maybe you should go talk to Nepal and some of your guys in the troubled, violence-prone northeast of your country --instead of focusing (read obcessing) over Pakistan in every sphere and aspect of your life.

now if you'll excuse me, I need to pick up some polyvinyl alcohol and some toner cartridges for my printer

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Apparently India did go to interpol and terror notice has been issued by them. Perhaps the latest bombing in various sovereign Pakistani territories got couple of those scums as well!
