Five freedom fighters killed in Kulgam gunfight

Five militants have been killed after a gunfight broke out in Kellam area of Devsar in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday morning.

Sources said that government forces cordoned off Kellam area of Kulgam. Soon after the joint team of forces fired several gunshots amid the cordon leading to an encounter, they said.

Sources told KashmirDispatch that five militants have been killed. When reports last came in search operation was going on.
