After ejection, a check-up is mandatory. It is not a gentle procedure, and is rough on the physique; these are not World War II type bailing out, but is done by firing the seat out of the airframe using an explosive charges.
One of the amusing jobs that came the way of a team I worked with was to do audio-visual training videos for maintenance crew to learn how to service these ejection seats; there had been ugly accidents earlier. It surprised us when the demand for this and similar videos grew and grew and grew, and we finally had five staff dedicated to these. The aerospace engineers, their colleagues, were hugely amused, and speculated on the 'content', besides the technical videos, that this team might be up to with their unlimited bandwidth Internet access and excellent editing facilities.
