BRO, 1st EF will be too much costly.
2nd, Infrastructure facility for Mirage will become idle.

Expected one... Because IAF will not waste the air frame life.. secondly this upgrade brings it close to F-16 Block-52... But would have been better if we had brought Rafale.. platform uniformity would have been great if Rafael was chosen..

nevertheless L1 decides the winner.. Rafale should bid low at any cost

The deal, which has remained in its final stages for over a year without being cleared, will fit 52 IAF Mirages with new avionics, the Thales RDY-2 multimode radar and RF/IR MICA air-to-air missiles.

And $30 million price tag, is engine included? our TATA Nano priced only $5k..!!
