Rule of thumb 1: one size class down, half radar signature, e.g. Gripen has half of F-16's radar signature

Rule of thumb 2: moderate radar signature reduction, two thirds of radar signature, e.g. JF-17 has two thirds of Gripen's radar siganture

Rule of thumb 3: extreme radar signature reduction, 10 percent of radar signature, e.g. Kh-101 has 10 percent of Kh-55's radar signature

F-15, Su-27 / Su-30, MiG-31: 3 m^2
Su-35: 2 m^2
Rafale, Eurofighter, F-16, F-18 C, F-18 E, MiG-29: 1.5 m^2
MiG-35, J-10 B: 1 m^2
Tejas, Gripen: 0.75 m^2
JF-17: 0.5 m^2
F-22, Su-57: 0.3 m^2
J-20: 0.2 m^2
F-35: 0.15 m^2
Kh-55, Tomahawk, CJ-10: 0.1 m^2
Kh-101: 0.01 m^2
AIM-120, R-77, PL-12: 0.01 m^2
AIM-9, R-73, PL-9: 0.005 m^2

Jf 17 thunder invisible to all radars present in the world

what is a size class?
Gripen isnt half the size of f-16
this is like comparing 13 inch laptop and a 15inch latop and call them "different class" hence the visibility on a 13inch laptop is half of 15 inch laptop.

what is moderate radar signature reduction? what radar absorbent material does JF-17 employ? why is the radar signature of JF-17 2/3 of gripen?

how are determining "moderate" and "extreme" RCS reduction?

the amount of research work required to reduce RCS is so huge - you have reduced it to very simplistic levels - they are not applicable at all in any practical situations.

3 size classes: big like Su-27 and F-15 and MiG-31 and F-4, medium like F-16 and F-18 and MiG-29 and F-35, small like JF-17 and Gripen and Tejas and F-5 / F-20.

DSI hides engine well. Reduces radar signature. Gripen don't have that. So JF-17 has two thirds of Gripen's radar signature.

Moderate reduction. Some RCS reduction, but not specifically in mind. For example, Su-35 has some RAM, so two thirds of Su-27's radar signature. Kh-101 has RAM all over plus stealthy shaping, so 10 percent of Kh-55's radar signature.

how/where

did you get this number that it is "2/3"rd of Gripen's RCS?

For example, Su-35 has some RAM, so two thirds of Su-27's radar signature.

again - from where did you get this number of 2/3rd SU-27's RCS? why not 50% or 85%?
