Are there women in the Pakistani army and if there are, do they serve any role in UN peacekeeping missions ?

Yes and kinda yes. There is no bar on them to serve in UN roles. I believe some have performed the duty, mostly as military doctors.

Women still make up 1% of the armed forces.

Most are in the non-combat role so thats why they dont get to high post like their male counter parts.

Personally i think that Pakistan isn,t ready for female generals.

They can but would they be promoted is another question because the armed forces still dont see women as Lt General material.

well Medical Corps Lt Gen are quite useless

not quite he is surgeon general of pakistan and a corps commander, so he has some say in running the institution. But as someone else said, army is still not ready for that kind of role for females.
