Open your eyes and read the news again. it is not for cars worth millions, it is for cars with engine capacity of 1000cc and below (well one may argue that even those cars cost more than a million, but that is also because of the stupid policies of this govt), whether new or used, doesnt matter.

The real question should be that how much is he earning in germnay? and what is his take home income after paying all the taxes, and whether that is enough or not. also, is the german govt leaking money? is the german govt providing facilities(health, education, infrastructure, safety of property and life, justice etc.) to its citizens equivalent to the amount of taxes he is paying?

10-20k is not much considering that people pay muliple of that amount "Own".

You need to read the article again. Punjab Govt introduced Lifetime token in 2012. Sindh Govt ihas done it this year.

Also its states atht people were not paying the income tax on annual basis so they have decided to take that on lifetime basis as well.

Lifetime to me mean one time tax.

Only questioning because I need to understand your motivation for disagreeing with any Tax that GoP is trying to collect while at the same time you should be/are paying tax in Germany which is much more than any tax that you have in Pakistn.

No the question is how much % of tax is he paying as compared to what he is earning.

No where in this world has it happend that people say to govt that gove us the facilities and then we will think about paying taxes

People need to pay for these services before govt can introduce them. Its not after the fact.

Pakistanis need to pay for the loans that they took as subsidies. Once all that is paid up then we can talk about what facilities we can afford to give people.
