How do they know who the true owners are if the assets are in somebody else's name? It's just guesswork. I hope they get sued over this. It's defamation!

It's not hard.
A person works as driver for a certain politician.
Said driver suddenly has billions of rupees worth of assets in his name. It's not very difficult to deduce who those assets really belong to. Besides, as soon as said driver is threatened with prosecution he's going to start singing. Why would he want to go to prison to preserve someone else's ill gotten money.
Prepare for lots of confiscations and prosecutions in the coming days, and not before time.
