What's new

Fawad Choudhry Quits PTI ..and Asad Umar Follows !

Imran Khan though he would make Pakistan another Sri Lanka by importing some hundreds of KP terrorists from bajaur to Zaman Park. Now he will learn the lesson that he never forget.

PTI would have lost 2023 election if not removed from power. PTI would have won election in 2023 if he just played his cards right and waited out instead of wanting election next day. Blackmailing state every day with terrorists from KP.

Pakistan economic problems are not that big of a deal if opposition is removed with their fake slogans. If current govt is given free hand to do reforms without worrying about elections then Pakistan economy will get on track.

But with opposition lying with economic facts and election around the corner, no one want to do reforms. PDM will finally take on hard reforms now that PTI is out of the picture. Remember Imran Khan layd down economic land mines before going out by reducing petrol/electricity prices. Pakistan foreign policy was in shambles, every friendly country turned against Imran Khan.

Boded Part: Truer words never spoken about the events of the last 13+ months!!

I will give it to Imran: Brilliant, untiring tactician. But utterly stupid strategist.

Imran brilliantly used the prevalent anti-Americanism in Pakistanis after his ouster in April 2022 to gain a lot of political ground, otherwise, before April 2022 Imran was losing in by-elections and even in KPK.
After gaining ground, Imran, the impetuous psychopath that he is, decided to rush back to power but for that he needed the military's support. But the military had seen their 'Project Imran' failed--especially when Imran started to meddle in the appointments of the next COAS and ISI Chiefs. Of course that was Imran's Const. 'right', but Imran forgot his place. Also, Imran was exercising his 'rights' not because of some superiority of civilians: Imran was exercising his 'rights' because, knowing his declining popularity, he wanted to use the military/ISI (again) for power.

This is all an old-fashioned power game, guys and gals! Nothing new here. We do disservice to Pakistan if we ignore all this. So let's have some honesty in our heads and in our keystrokes! Love your country--not some personality! And call a spade a spade!

1- Under law, judge can give bail if he considers that the assurance given by detainee of 3-MPO, "to be remain peaceful, will not participate in any unlawful activity, will not incite people against state or security institutions etc". So this is very much under the law.
2- Judge can not force anyone to leave politics, right to join or form a party, right to peruse a political agenda or other political rights. I don't endorse the behavior of judge.
3- They should point out that you are crossing your limits.
4- Imran Khan, Hammad Azhar, Nawaz Sharif and all other absconders should surrender themselves before law.

You people defended arrest of Sabir Hashmi, Aadi, Dr. Faisal lower middle class political workers.

Lets call spade a spade.

The PTI leaders are being taken out by the establishment and their foot soldiers. Do constitutional rights of a citizen matter here?

The May 9 incident caused life lost on PTI side but 0 casualties on security forces yet the PTI is being called a terrorist and not one PTI leader called for violence. Does it not warrant an inquiry?

Or a constitutional right of elections in 90 days post assembly dissolution. Does this not raise alarms?

Loving your country means finding the root cause of the ills of Pakistan and harp on why this country hasn’t reached its potential in the last 75 years or is in par with its neighbors. Unless the elephant in the room is not called out there will be no progress.

You will get your answer.

The establishment playing as Bush Jr. "if you are not with us, you are against us." and PTI leaders are caving in like Musharrafs.

The PTI leaders are not showing spine and wasting tears. Leaders who shed tears are not considered leaders in South Asia

Just four days ago he was saying that he will not leave PTI no matter what.

Mere Bhai!! In the jungle, that's called the Pakistani politics, there are no rules. But the wise leaders would have played the 'long game' and wouldn't have fought the combined Opposition AND the Establishment at the same time.
How many times I have to repeat that?? Imran Khan $fucked up by opening the two-front war!!

In the annals of political discourse, for a nation of Pakistan's size and influence, Imran Khan is going to be registered by History as the dumbest of all the leaders!!

He is a slow learner, he will learn in a hard-way.

That’s your opinion.

The jungle law of politics in Pakistan has not served Pakistan. It should be pretty obvious from the last 75 years. Where we stand vis a vis countries like India or Bangladesh.

Sure he made stupid mistakes along the way. And whether he is the dumbest of all remains to be seen. What he has done inadvertently is to expose the establishment, first time in Pakistan’s history.

That could be his dumbest move for his political career but could be the most genius move in the larger realm of Pakistan’s future.

As I said in either in this or another thread here: Imran's one and only lasting 'legacy' will be discrediting the Pakistani 'Establishment'. That he did it, ironically, against his own interests, will also be noted by History. And Imran did it for political gains--not out of some grand ideals; that too will be recorded by History.

In the end, Imran will be remembered as one of the dumbest leaders in Pakistan's history, especially when you'd consider how much he was given by not only the Establishment but also by the Pakistani people who, rightly, got sick of the old order. Imran squandered it all, except for raising awareness about tackling the Pakistani Establishment.

It is time for the PTI supporters to get out of the spell and the stupor of loving this charlatan and love your country Pakistan.

What constituion if you got to power with establishment help? He should have used the oportunity of his ouster and waited out for next election with punjab/kp govts intact.

Instead he put red line on his arrest by bringing hundreds of KP hardnered TTP like terrorists to zaman park.

PTI already had huge voting bank which increased further after april 2022 to the point that establishment and electables were no longer needed.

In any case Imran Khan have pea sized brain who I'm not sure is good for Pakistan at all. Look at his foreign policy, by 2023 only taliban ruled Afghanistan would have remained his ally. He doesn't want to talk to opposition and rather put them in jail with ISI help. What is happening to PTI is karma.
