No shame in adjusting to new knowledge.

Absolutely, and one must never stop learning. When one stops, it is the same as death, albeit prematurely. I still try to learn something new everyday, even a new word will do.

Learning how to question all evidence, forming hypotheses, then evaluating them without preconceived notions and being willing to accept what the results show are all golden skills, generally applicable. None of these are allowed to develop, let alone flourish, in Pakistan, unfortunately, and that is why PDF is what it is, like most things Pakistani. Sad.

Scary.

What is the future?

What is so scary? The future is only what we strive for today to make it whatever we wish.

I have only this to say. Educated Pakistanis need to look elsewhere. They should move abroad to civilised and educated societies. Pakistan is a dictatorship where apparently corruption and killings are normal. If this is what you want your children to become absolutely stay in Pakistan.

Pakistan is economically finished. It is a broke country and this situation won't improve anytime soon. For the ordinary people there is only hardship and suffering. IMF and friendly countries aren't helping a dictatorship. They know that Pakistan doesn't repay owed money. It has no skills nor the ability to look after itself. Pakistan is a child with severe autism. The child knows that he has to eat chocolate and all other yummie stuff. The child knows it has to go to sleep. Yet the child poops in its own pants and the parents have to clean up every time. This is Pakistan. Corruption and enjoyment with hard earned money of other nations and institutions. Yet, no responsibility to repay this money nor the brains to improve or have any sort of ambition. Corruption and control. Greed and more greed.

Mate Pakistan is screwed for good. The status quo has done eff all for the country for the last 40 years combined between them, this reign of terror won't last long, eventually the military won't find extra money to buy new goodies and pay salaries to its officers and soldiers.

75 years old and still living in gutter… while other country have been able to get out from the gutter… it’s not because it is PTI or IK, but the impulse toward a new future for your children, for our children… but no ! Pakistanis are :

This is only a battle lost. It is a long drawn out war and Pakistanis will have to slug it out.

Some of the arguments I see here are like victim blaming. Imran Khan has been pushed to this position because he stuck to Buzdar or he was a loud mouth.

When you force politicians to resign by blackmailing you’ll harm their mothers and sisters, you are already losing.

So my friends on PDF, be patient, don’t jump to conclusions, keep doing your bit. In Jinnah’s famous last words, InshaAllah victory will be ours.

The elections in Punjab and KPK should have been held by now.

The decision to dissolve the assemblies is the right of the majority party in any parliamentary democracy and it is up to the voters how they view that decision by voting in the said elections.

Yes, the elections in Prov. Assemblies should have been held. But I had also said above that when Imran threw out the NCM based on lies, he broke the rules and violated the Const. of Pakistan. The Noonies are not nice people and they were not going to play by the rules themselves after that.

And why dissolve the Prov. Assemblies? Why boycott the NA? Why make President Alvi to stall every 'summary' sent to him? Why pick a fight with the Establishment when the enemy was PDF? The list of follies and destablization of Pakistan is long after April 2022. I have repeated the same arguments here so many times!!

Imran could have come on top after April 2022 and yet he chose bad decisions. This is my issue with him and erstwhile Imran supporters like Irshad Bhatti; ponder what Bhatti, now looking totally dejected, is saying lately.

In short, there was no way Imran could have won against both the Establishment and the PDM. He gained popularity after toppled but that is nothing new--popular leaders like ZAB, Benazir and Nawaz had been kicked out of power, some exiled multiple times, and one executed. It is a JUNGLE in Pakistani politics and one must play carefully!
