'Fake, dumb, and poor' – Huawei exec [Ryan Ding] unloads on China 5G

Yes and it will take time to cover. No country in world is covering 100 percent 5g coverage

Yes, but even this Huawei exec is saying all the hype about Huawei's cutting edge 5G isn't true. It's "fake, dumb, and poor". He admits South Korea's tech is better...which is what many US carriers will be collaborating with...and the Chinese here have laughed at it as being far inferior to Huawei.

U should read the article once again. The guy is in carrier business of huawie and is critisizing the service provider for lack of coverage. it has nothing to do with the 5G network devices.

If network oooperators have not installed or covered an area then how does it reflects on equipment which is an entirely different thing.

In simple word u r equating a complaint about taxi driver from a passenger with faulty taxi manufacturing which are totally unrelated

Yep this is typical of low caliber scumbags to misread and misinterpret articles like this.

I bet he searches for negative news about Huawei, because lightreading.com is a specialist telecom industry site that typical people never read.

He is too quick to jump on the China 5G bashing. Revealing the truth is not his intention. Smearing China using whatever lowlife method is.

Wow another oneliner ripped completely out of context that is barely even related and if anything only contradicting this piece of shits narrative, thrown into a pile of American propaganda full of missinformation and lies for domestic consumption to misportray it as "Chinese admitting and confirming" their bullshit.

How many times are these low IQ retards eating up this cheap propaganda falling for this cheap trick? 😂

If they are not flat out lying, many of these articles are written in order to be "misunderstood" at facevalue or even easy to just pretend to be miunderstood in a way that server the mouthpieces agenda. Typical tricks like juxtaposing two completely unrelated or barely related claims or facts that are easy to mistake as talking about the same or compareable subjects at first glance, to be from the same source or even from compareable dates and timeframes, or making bold factually false statements in the headline then conceeding the completely different true story at the the end of a wall of text to be used as a strawman when they propaganda lies are called out. Targeting naive and uneducated people who have no idea how reality detached the narrative is and take everything at facevalue or lowlifes who are completely emotional about the meta subject of nationalism or racism or just dishonest and willing to play along with this bullshit.

If somehow as you suggest China’s own Mobile service providers are so incompetent that they can’t even follow Huawei’s specific directions on proper installlation to a point it is significantly impacting China’s ENTIRE average 5G download numbers how would you expect other countries using Huawei’s equipment to do better?

I am not interested in trolling or useless discussion. If you have already decided that china 5G is a failure then you can draw your own conclusion kindly stop quoting me.

Article is highlighting simple concept that 5G covergae is incomplete as of now which is a fact known to everyone in the world as it is still at very early in almost every country who has already started 5g

Nobody is saying China's 5G is useless or a failure. It just seems Huawei's highly vaunted 5G superiority over other companies solutions has not been easy to implement.

Even Ryan Ding says the cost of all the needed equipment may be a factor in mobile provider's not providing sufficient coverage to achieve high speeds. If so how would we expect other countries around the world like Pakistan, Malaysia, or Brazil to be able to handle this better using Huawei's equipment?

It is possible that widespread 5G high speeds is a pipe dream even when using other companies equipment due to the cost of needed adequate coverage. Ryan Ding says it may require 10 million 5G nodes in China to equal their current 4G coverage.

Important to check the signal strength to power consumed ratio as 5G equipment is notoriously power hungry. I have no confidence that homegrown Chinese technology will prove cost effective in operation. But if they have copied from some korean or western firm , they might be competitive.

By the time it is finished China will have 11.4 million 5G station. China has only completed 650,000 5G station so far and its schedule is 800,000 by the end of 2020.
USA has only completed 40,000 station. :coffee:
China choose Sub-6GHz over mmWave spectrum for obvious reason.
For a slower speed, Huawei 5G is very much less costlier, uses less electricity and operators do not requires so many stations.
Imagine China projected 11.4 million stations, how many 5G stations do you reckoned USA needed to build?
