About Air Force, that's my main concern. 1 more squadron is not enough nor cost efficient if we decide to buy from western sources.

Because we were sanctioned, and also Russians were not selling us new jets. Another reason can be already having upper hands on Armenians regarding air force. But, I do believe that it is not enough for our air force jet fleet.

We have bought them from ex-soviets We were/are not sanctioned by ex-soviets.
Our helicopters are also Mils bought/inherited from Russia/USSR.

I hope T-129 will be operational soon, very good choise
AAF need to find somehow solution to the jets problem, anyway JF-17 was an option?

no , Azerbaijan ordered 36 Mi-35Ms and 60+ Mi-17s in 2010

very good move , Israeli vessels proved themselves in the combat
also needed some units of submarines,

it uses Russian jet engine, so, it is not an option. IMHO we need to buy something better than JF-17

T-129 is in a different class than Mil-35. One is a heavy helicopter, another one is not.

Mi-35 weren't meant for air force , but border guards.
T-129 wasn't available back then , and I believe border guards actually needed space for troops
thus why they preferred MI-35M

USA made jets are the best maybe some F-15, F-16 or F-18 better than all russian junkjets

Russian jets are not necessarily junks. the ones that USSR exported to Arabs or some others were downgraded and monkey versions. Also, they lacked trainings. But, it's not the case for ex-soviets jets and pilots
