But Regarding some Key Points about Mirage2000-5 MK2

The instantaneous turn rate is a significant advantage for the mirage, as the MICA missile is a better IR missile than the AIM 9 and an experienced mirage pilot will lock on initially and get the kill before the f-16 tries to gain altitude after the initial confrontation (In which case the F-16 would have an advantage due to higher sustained rate.

In Greece where they operate both, they consider the Mirage 2000-5 Mk II and above superior to the F-16 in high altitude due to maneuverability and the F-16 superior in low altitude due to being more powerful.

The Mirage has some advantage as well with the longer range MICA missile, which shoots towards the projected course of the enemy and starts tracking when it's close. This has an advantage because there is no missile warning and the f-16's pilot would get a defensive stance upon close missile warning which would cause him to lose his lock on the AMRAAM had he shot one. The MICA also produces no warning when shot from behind and if the pilot doesn't see it it's a kill.

Yes but F 16 takes the cherry for being sold so extensively without being cheap and without being best the money can buy , that why its a interesting case study.

You gentlemen do understand that majority of F-16s were either sold to US allies (Canada,Australia,Europe), or were given as military aid for free(Egypt, Israel, Pakistan)?

And it is a pretty good aircraft for sure. It may be inferior to European planes in certain conditions, but unless you are comparing recent Eurocanards with F-16, it could hold its ground.

I only think that basing performance criterion on sales volume is stupid in case when rules of game are not same for two aircrafts.

Sorry, that statement is pretty flawed. Israelis loved their A4s and F4s and then the Mirage III/V....if M2K was that superior, they would've gone with the french option, but they went ahead and bought a crazy amount of F-16s. They've done some real combat and ground missions with them. M2K inherently good strike aircraft, the advantage loses out with the BLK52 and it's newer targeting pods, air to air performance etc.

WIth the MDPU ( Modular Data Processing Unit ) as available as is the same in Rafale
and an uprated M 53 P3 model ; the Mirage upgraded fighter is looking very good

What game changer MICA is in Indo Pak scenario?? do you know the range of AIM-120-C5 and its capabilities?? M2K-Mk2s will be taking evasive maneuvers to save them self before even they will be able to launch their 60 km range MICA.

Which they very well could, and given the fact that French and Germans have their ballz in Israelis grips, Israel would've asked them to pay or USA to pay....like they Made Germans pay for the Dolphin submarines.

M2k not comes with RDY-3 also known as RC400 whereas M2k comes with RDY-2 which is standard radar for Mk2 upgrade.

No fighter and no f16 has achieved a kill at over 60km it's almost impossible.

Thus. The mica infa red which gives no trace if being fired is mare lethal .

No RDY 3 are RC400 are same
And no KLJ-7 is not better than RDY-3 although its performance is desirable in A2A platform but lacks in A2G because of the superb SAR technology in RDY series. That was said by none other than @Oscar.

If the missle range and speed is most vital than the amraamc5 is outgunned by Russian r77 abd su30mki powerful pesa radars. This is the best missle in terms of range and speed in south Asia
