They are interesting designs, but we need to remember that 95% of these were simply artists' concepts, and were never built.

You can get pretty fanciful because they will probably never fly.

I believe one of the (many) reasons Germany lost WW2 was because the allies took what they knew worked well (B-29, P-51, Spitfire) and made tens of thousands of them. Germany was spread thin in the R & D area. They had some outstanding successes like the Me-262, but they were too little, too late, to alter the outcome of the war. Also, investing so heavily in the V1/V2 projects which were nothing but vengeance/terror weapons, with ZERO real military capabilities.
