Nope. To be fair no military exercise has the enemy shooting back, otherwise you will end up losing guys just in the training. Even if you overlook that, the whole event was over the top. Would they really want to board an Aircraft carrier with 5000 people with ropes? Not to mention an AC is never alone, it's always part of a Battle Group.

I phrased it wrong...not shooting back but perhaps running simulations on how to penetrate a Battle Group and its likely response.
