We have to expand our tourism sector if we want to diversify our economy. Tourism industry has a huge potential in bangladesh. Places such as paharpur or Sonargaon easily draw in tourists. In my opinion, we must develop our tourism sector if we want our economy to fare much better.
Well, I personally dont want Thailand type tourism industry. That just destroyed everything in Thailand and as whole the whole country.

I do not understand the term. Are you refering to vice activities conducted by forign tourists in thailand?
same like China -Bangladesh![]()
No, the BD-China trade is quite different. China has abolished duties on about 4000 items made in Bangladesh. China regards made in Bangladesh products as those which have at least 40% values added in Bangladesh. So, do not talk Indian style of bullshit here. Learn first the facts and then talk. Do not compare India with China.
While narrow-minded India does not allow our goods for what kind of fear I do not know, China keeps its doors open to our products without fear. Now, we will take opportunity in the Chinese market. However, we cannot do it immediately because our production base is very limited. In order to tap Chinese market with our low value added products, we need a land route via Myammar.
Do not also forget that BD-China trade goes in favour of China also because we purchase hundreds of millions of military hardwares including frigattes, tanks, APC, artillery, missile crafts etc. from that country every year. China is making us strong in every respect, but a jealous small-hearted India wants the opposite. So, it is no wonder that India and its citizens are disliked by us.

Well its not only the vice activities but the all the activities as a whole. Tourist should come to a country and go as if nobody noticed. They should not disturb our day to day activities and our normal way of life. A country should not dedicate itself to some foreign tourist. Like New York and London which draws biggest number of tourists but nobody even notice them neither they can be separated from the daily dwellers.
In case of China we do not produce goods that can satisfy the demand of the Chinese consumers. That is why we export less. But, in case of India, we have many goods that can flood Indian market. But, India keeps its market closed for fear of being overwhelmed by our goods. 80 million pcs of garments have faced this fate. India has many hidden laws written in accordance with their book, Arthashastra. To deal with Indians is so time consuming that traders in Bangladesh have lost any appetite for Indian market. The only and real losers are, though, the consumers of India. Well, will they ever be informed that they are the losers?ohh so thats the case
Bangladesh's exports to China amounted only about USD 98.8 million
