As evidence suggests india had been involved directly and indirectly in peshawar-massacre, US is hard pressed with the evidence what to do. Perhaps used as leverage to get N deal india was stalling for long.

The point is at this moment, Evidences against India aren't smoking gun any more. Defense Minister, Foreign and national security advisor and now secretary defence along with multiple generals in army are on on record stating evidences against india. So unless you know more than these officials which can negate their statements, be my guest, do come up with your own evidences
