That's because noble figures like Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Guru Nanak, Guru Rinpoche etc were teachers of humanity to all humans who forgot what it like to live a simple, honourable life. These noble figures are respected by people of all faiths and cultures who know about them.
