What's new

EU envoys call off meeting with Geelani

first of all, it wasn't even relevant to discussion

second of all, its a failed argument from the get-go since Balochistan isn't disputed territory (kind of like how Assam, West Bengal, Deccan Hyderabad etc. are not disputed territory ;))

Kashmir, however is....and internationally, it is recognized as disputed territory. That was the point I was trying to make, before you went off on your little tangent.

I don't think India cares of how Kashmir is seen internationally. India will always maintain it to be our integral part. This particular decision shows that there is a tacit approval from EU as well. Then there is Arab League quoting recently that they have no particular qualms about Kashmir. So I see it as advantage India.

india can maintain whatever she cares to maintain; but it can't be integral part of india if it requires iron-fist occupation and AFSPA

if the people were with india, supprorted india and even went the extra mile by denouncing Pakistan ''interference'' then maybe you'd win the debate. However, we saw even during the recent intifada that such is far from the case; and in fact Kashmiris are demanding that the occupational forces (sissies) withdraw from the territory completely

so just by looking at the actual ground realities instead of hearing digested information from new delhi, the signs are very telling

Balochis feel it so.

Check the Balochi history.

And check what happened after Independence.

majority of Baloch are pro-Pakistan and in fact many view the rebel groups as a bigger enemy to Baloch people than to even Pakistan as a whole.

and I dont need indians to try to teach me history about my own countrymen. You talk about Baloch when india is the country where massive genocides against sikhs and other communities took place on much larger scale. In reality, there are of course grievences but those are against the federal govt. and not against the entity of Pakistan.

whereas I can point to you several areas in india where ethnic groups not only have issue with the center, but with the country as a whole. Just look at the Bengalis in india for example.
