What's new

Erdogan has no place in the EU

Not bad, that's pretty good income for Turkey but Italy is more expensive.

What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

I have a small apartment which belongs my father, so i have the luck to not have to pay rent.

I have a job as engineer at an airline and beside that earn money with fitness related activities.

There propably wont be brexit. The EU can be happy that UK has a government of Fools and idiots. All that happened yet was that EU hog a boost and UK has become a global joke.

My monthly income is 2247 €. Thats ok for me.
I pay more than that in tax :-(
The important thing is not the salary, though.
It is the difference between money in, and money out...

Yes. Since i pay no rent i can save 750€ each month and do a big travel each year.

When I was in the army, driving one of these, the salary was $3 a day, but still saved money...

Free Food, Free Lodging, and not a lot to buy.

Rent and bills seem to be the highest expenses.

I have my own houses but don't live in them so end up paying rent anyway :(

You will need to earn more if you plan on supporting a family and having children some day.

It's one thing to eat at a restaurant alone and another to eat 3-4x people. Same with travel and other expenses.

Life isn't fair always, but only solution is more income.

Since you aren't paying rent I highly suggest you save your rent money and do something to increase your income with it, maybe buy another apartment you can rent out.

There is some thing called self-respect, its more important than membership of European Union. While browsing through TV channels of my cable, i see the TV serials of Turkey, the historical dramas......and i noticed that they want to depict their Ottoman past as much European as possible even though it was Asiatic/middle eastern. One of the TV show on Ottomans looked as if it was in the Lord of the Rings universe of Tolkien.

You obviously have no clue about history.

By 16th century the ottoman empire pretty much westernized itself. Why you think so many buildings in Istanbul and Izmir are build by italian or french architects?
The Sultan even hired western composters, build opera houses.

Rent and bills seem to be the highest expenses.

True, but my girl earns 1500 € as well, so we have a good income. Add the money i make with my sport and jobs resulting from it, we can have a good life.

Our big travel next year is Australia. Then we want save some more (at least we planned that ;) )

I remember the story about the conservative Turkish Sultan that
still wanted to modernize Turkey, so he invited a British Engineer
and wanted him to explain this interesting new "motor" development.
The engineer made to mistake of mentioning that the motor did
2000 revolutions per minute.
This upset the Sultan, so the engineer was quickly dispatched from Turkey
and was banned from returning for life!

This guy is black haha, maybe it's a picture of one of the harem servants with his wee wee cut off?

Or maybe it's a local "prince" in the Egyptian district.

That is not what a Ottoman prince from Istanbul looked like.

Or may be you people are "brownies" in the eyes of true Europeans.

It's not about Erdogan. The fact of the matter is that Turkey has no place in a xenophobic Christian club like the EU. It's the leaders of the EU who say so!

We'll remain partners and will continue to do business together. But don't expect Turkey to come to the defense of those who never thought of the Turks as their equals and wanted them in the EU family. Turkey is a sovereign country and will work with whomever serve our national interests.
