Why should we let them go? Does only Palestine have the right to reclaim their land? We too have the same right.

Land belongs to India. People's faith can change but not the physical boundaries.

If a certain people who have changed their religion want to live in a secular India, which is what was promised to them after independence, but now you wish to unilaterally change the status to Hindu India, they must be allowed to go. It is their right. If we won't treat them as equals, we don;t have a right to their land.

Just because Hindus used to live in those lands at one point doesn't mean that land belongs to Hindus forever. The people there have changed their religion and now want to live in a secular India. If we can't give them that, they must be allowed to go.

That;s not really possible. Supreme Court has already held in previous cases that Preamble of the constitution cannot be amended. And the preamble declares India to be a secular country.
