Greetings,
Egypt has been upgrading and building new infrastructures since 2013. I’ve made this thread to discuss them. I’d like this to be an interactive thread.
For now allow me to tag some who can contribute to this;
@Gomig-21 @HD Seeker-5000 @The SC @Abdelrahman
Here are some unofficial social media outlets that share content about Egypt’s infrastructure;

Eyes on;
New El Alamein

New El Mansoura
New Galala

A University in Galala

And last but most popular, the New Administrative Capital.

My friends these fancy brochures and clips dont mean any thing. The reality on the ground is terrible for the common folks, as the ELITE continue to plunder and enjoy their luxurious lifestyles.

Very cool, thank you for the tag and the effort. Do you mean to tell me that all these amazing things have been going on in Egypt since Sisi took over? I thought he ruined the country? That was what some guy said on another thread and what certain.........people here think of him! Wow, so maybe he's been responsible for a lot of good things happening inside Egypt?! Isn't that something! :tup:

@The SC had started this thread, here a couple of years ago and we've been occasionally updating it but recently we've been slacking off a little bit. Egypt's national and strategic development projects. Funny thing is once he opened it up, some of the "northern" neighbors started the same threads for other countries.

Definitely some great stuff like the Ismailiya tunnels, those were pretty incredible to watch them dig and the new capital obviously and the new El Alamein City and all the Red Sea area project like the Galala Plateau and the new bases and all the new housing that is going up like crazy to get rid of the slums is one of the most impressive feats IMO. All the new solar parks and their gargantuan sizes as well as the new nuclear reactor. Really encouraging to see since most people think that the only thing that is being improved is the military and all the new weapons but the cretins in "all of Sinai" are winning! lol. Good stuff.

In Alexandria, the currently moving in citizens are guaranteed privileges when it comes to owning the shops of that compound. They are granted lower interest rates than that if the usual and they are provided with long term service.

Nice apartments an ideal tourist attractions. Just happened to travel from Harghada to Luxor was appalled by the state of the living conditions in the rural areas.

And? How does it fit into the threat? It’s about new infrastructure not old ones who existed before.
I sense the need of suppression and hate, is that the case?

No matter what you do, say or show with all the visually convincing material you put up, there will always be the haters out there that you're unfortunately witnessing with your own eyes that will say whatever they can to discredit all the effort being made. Because God forbid, none of this, not a single one of these projects are being undertaken for the benefit of the common citizens of the country, only the elite and for the money LOL! Not one single project is an honest one! :lol:

So you have to decide whether it's worth the effort, or if you're better off ignoring them and not giving them your valuable time and effort. I suggest you keep going the way you have been but not worry about the haters because trying to fix the poverty issue in Egypt is something that obviously can and should be done instantaneously with a single wave of a magic wand! :enjoy:

On a lighter note, all the desalination projects are also fantastic. The idea of expanding out of the shores of the Nile is long-awaited thinking that should've started long time ago. The really unseen and behind the scenes kinda thing that Sisi has done that he really doesn't get much credit for is the appointing of the right people to head those important ministries that are responsible for many of these projects. Getting foreign investments into the country is a critical part and these people are the ones doing it. Pushing the right buttons and getting the financing is amazing because let's face it, the cost of all this stuff is exorbitant! But they're doing it and doing it well.

I think the planning of using the eventual gas fields monetary intakes is a sure way to bet on all the financing of much of these projects. The product coming out of Zohrn and the other fields is already being allocated to fund a lot of these critical projects and they made all the right moves from the exploration to the active wells to the two and only LNG capable plants in the Eastern Mediterranean that happen to be in northern Egypt is a huge plus. When you factor all these things, you can appreciate the fact that this administration has made all the right moves from the start. And let's not forget the adversity that they're dealing with, namely Ethiopia and the Nile water. Libya and the western border & terrorism and of course, the plague of those 3 cities in northeast Sinai. Dealing with all that and still plugging away the way they are is a testament to their efforts.

Have you ever been to the USA.. I bet you'll be appalled by some places.. and this is the richest country in the world..
Have you seen rural China and the people there still seaming about their poverty..even though it is the second economy of the world..!??????

That is just incredible. The amount of cement, cinder blocks, bricks, mortar, poured concrete, rebar galore for all the reinforced concrete, plaster, woodwork, tile, all the finishes etc. is astounding in just this one development alone. Imagine all the developments put together and all the materials used and the cost associated? lol!

The new Ismailiya Mahsama waste water plant won the top plant in the world award from ENR Magazine for 2020. I didn't even know they had such an award lol.

Also the salt water desalination plant in Medina El Alamein won the award for 2020.

Just another couple examples of the incredible stuff happening in Egypt. And I'm noticing these great dessalination plants are in major cities that are far away from the reach of the Nile. So this Ethiopia thing that some people don't realize that a lot of these plants have been going up around greater Egypt so the reliance on the Nile is decreasing at a good pace as far as civil water usage. Farming water is still in the works but with all this success Mash'Allah it's only a matter of time. Either way, the Nile won't become an issue anyway despite what the hateful wishers want.

ENR Best Project winners.

50,000 EGP as a down payment and 5 or 7 year payment plan.
Does anyone have exact figures of the total units once these middle income housing projects are over? I know that they are to be taxed though a joint organisation between a private company (that will provide long term services to insure these infrastructures are cared after) and the government. I like how they worked it out.

Outstanding. Getting a figure on what all of this is costing to date would also be good to know, just to have an idea how much they are spending to make Egypt better in every sector of living and economical growth.

More footage of the residential areas. EGP 4.8 bil for some projects in the Sinai @Gomig-21
Make it EGP5.72bil

There is also a project spoken about on the internet for a new city in North East Sinai.
Nothing confirmed for me yet.
