Ebola virus outbreak

This virus outbreaks mainly occur in Africa (Specially Uganda). This vaccine for this virus is not available as on date, neither the medication.. The only prevention is quarantine and rehydrating the patients.. Unfortunately the season is favourable for this virus to spread in Asia.. God help us....

Is it perhaps arguable that these natural clamities which we now call Viruses are a built in mechanism to control population explosions ? A natural defences of earth to ensure we don't pollute the core of earth by our multiplication

I guess that would be next remedy to shed away 30-40 million Pakistanis, like you said before

[ genocide of Pakistanis due to false UN indoctrination ]

well,its spreading isnt it..
treatment(?),,vaccine(?),,,poor prognosis,,,this is bad.

It's spreading due to very poor condition of African hospitals and burial ceremonies which includes touching the deceased body..etc. etc...,

What i mean is there won't be a major catostrophic zombie apocalypse like break-down....

may be not in Turkey bro,,,,but our medical facilities r not upto the level to handle this kind of Sh#t,,,,,even dengue/malaria kill a lot here..mark my words if it reaches south asia,,,,,,it will be bad.

Like Sinan has rightly pointed out, the Ebola virus (and related Marburg or we virologists call it MARV) does not transmit through the air, nor does it transmit through the insect vectors such as mosquito. Dengue and Malaria is a bigger problem because they are transmitted through the bite of the infected mosquito, which are difficult to control in certain parts of the world. However chances of getting MARV infection are very low unless the sputum, blood, or other body fluids (or tissues) of the infected individual come into direct contact with the blood of the bystander individual(s). At one point, Russians were weaponing MARV so I understand that they might have worked on MARV vaccine in parallel. Even though there is no acknowledgement whether they really developed a MARV vaccine or not.

btw someone uploaded a video claiming it to be a droplet infection.

It is a filovirus so it is not a virus that would transmit through the air. However, it is possible to get transmitted through the air at-least in theory.

MARV may be present in the bloody sputum of the MARV patient. A violent cough can possibly cause it to reach to the eyes or lungs of the bystander individual(s). Even though virus infection through these routes are highly unlikely, but possible depending on the virus load. Unfortunately, we do not know the minimum infectious does of MARV, hence cant say how many viruses would be sufficient to cause a productive infection in healthy individuals.

Secret serum likely saved Ebola patients - CNN.com

(CNN) -- Three top secret, experimental vials stored at subzero temperatures were flown into Liberia last week in a last-ditch effort to save two American missionary workers who had contracted Ebola, according to a source familiar with details of the treatment.
...............
The medicine is a three-mouse monoclonal antibody, meaning that mice were exposed to fragments of the Ebola virus and then the antibodies generated within the mice's blood were harvested to create the medicine. It works by preventing the virus from entering and infecting new cells.
.................

Within an hour of receiving the medication, Brantly's condition was nearly reversed. His breathing improved; the rash over his trunk faded away. One of his doctors described the events as "miraculous."
By the next morning, Brantly was able to take a shower on his own before getting on a specially designed Gulfstream air ambulance jet to be evacuated to the United States.
Writebol also received a vial of the medication. Her response was not as remarkable, according to sources familiar with the treatment. However, doctors on Sunday administered Writebol a second dose of the medication, which resulted in significant improvement.
She was stable enough to be evacuated back to the United States and is expected to arrive before noon Tuesday.

This will most likely end up like h1n1 where a lot of hype is done , nothing happens and drug companies make millions ...
