Earthquake in Pakistan

Just at about 2:10am there was such big jolt of earthquake i felt here in Peshawar and now reports that it was in many parts of Pakistan .

i felt like my walls are coming down . one big jolt.

it was said to be over 5.8

Yes in Charsadda, Peshawar and above all in Nowshera it was so severe that people came out of their homes.


i never been afraid or even felt any scared at even on 2005 earthquake but this was a big jolt i thought someone just pushed me badly.


in Mansehra seems it would have been more stronger.

the epicenter is said to be hindukush range

i think it is due to the fact that the epicentre is near.also, we dont know any thing about the depth of the epicentre. recently earth quake in spain had less then 6 intensity but it did damage buildings, perhaps it too was shallow.

The depth is reported as 217 Km under the ground

Yes thats why i am more worried because in Nowshera its reported that people ran out of homes
