Dubai's police chief is the de facto mouthpiece of the UAE government, by the way. And, just as I've told PDFers many times in the past, the UAE supports the creation of an independent Kurdish state (in N. Syria and N. Iraq) in order to counter both Iran and Turkey. This article confirms the UAE's position on Kurdistan:

Power of what....If the Pakistani workers decide to rise they will take UAE in an hour. Quicker than Saddam took Kuwait.
Don't be jelly.

The UAE has multiple overseas military bases in Eritrea, Somaliland, Puntland, South Yemen, East Libya, and even in Cyprus. It has one of the highest GDPs per capita in the world, one of the strongest and most diversified economies in the MENA region, and the most competent land force in the Arab World.

It's a regional power.

It also controls many foreign ports.

All these countries making noises to break and weaken muslim countries who have their legal lands according to UN. But it's pathetic no one raise voice or awareness on Indian army atrocities in Indian occupied kashmir, just today an innocent civilian was tied on the military jeep and paraded, so that the stones of frustrated kashmiris hit that poor man.

The UAE isn't irrelevant. It's a regional power right now.

Really....it couldn't fight it's way out of a paper bag

My dear I am not sure what you have been reading but I lived in UAE for three years. They couldn't wipe their noses without Americans and the British. They all (gulf Arabs) come to Pakistan to train and the head of desert warfare school is a personal friend. Trust me they even have to make special soft courses for the air conditioned warriors who need plaster for ever graze.
Just like the Kuwait army that fled as soon as they saw Saddam's soldier and then celebrated liberation right behind the Americans the Emiratis are no different. As I said they couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag

Why is UAE getting in confrontation with Turkey?
Turkey is not something to take light and also Iran will destroy the UAE economy in single day for these things

Not all Kuwaitis ran away. Some of my relatives fought the invasion and were either killed or taken as prisoners of war.

The UAE outsources almost everything anyway. I'm aware of that. But it's still a regional power due to its economic strength and successful power projection.

The UAE has successfully projected power beyond its borders. Of course the Emiratis couldn't have done it without the help of foreign advisers and expertise, but they've done it nonetheless.

Why is UAE getting in confrontation with Turkey?

The UAE is against any country that supports the Muslim Brotherhood.

Iran will never go to war with the Emiratis since it heavily depends on them for trade.

The terrorism has always umbrellas that cover their violance on the ground, and these umbrellas are always the humanitarian values, which is to show their violance as legit, and also incite feelings of regular people against the ''evil'' they ''fight''.

The new tool for terrorists to spread their propaganda is the internet.
The terrorism uses key words to crack the perception of negative feelings towards some people or group that are recognised as violant or terrorists by official laws of states in the world, but if they use those key words that justify their violance on the ground, suddenly they get the ticket to make propaganda of their terrorism in the following sentences in the news in the websites. Those key words could be a religion like Islam, Democracy or children etc., but the following sentences are surely covering their violance in an innocent tone.

Such websites are likely to be blocked in the hosting country, for it has no adress or phone numbers in their websites but an e-mail adress, which raises the suspicion on their aim. The UN or the EU has some resolutions, and courts have some verdicts on such websites.

As for the member...In The PDF, The member is deliberatly and regularly spreading links of such websites with ''news'' to put the website under the umberalla of legitimacy.

The website which the ''news'' is based on has no contact information, no adress, no phone number; but a simple e-mail.

@WebMaster ... Coincidentally I have so far personally spotted such ''news'' with such websites with no contact information but a simple e-mail adress, What is more, it has so far been the same member in the OP who is deliberatly spreading such ''news'' of ''websites'' in order to decieve perception of regular people against terrorists... Any action for such propaganda of terrorists?

Did not his majesty set a dead line for Iran or Turkey to do it? I think if he didn't, it's better for him and also entire region to do it right now ...

Uae have no role either in Iraq or Syria.with bomb strikes, uae just can't control the growing tensions on the ground.turkey already made a buffer zone and I don't see Iran and turkey fighting in the near future.all this conflict is more about Russia and america.

Please don't disrespect women.every human being is equal. I can understand emotions but please understand that our religion doesn't permit us to show disrespect for women.we should behave like civilized people.we must left things behind so that we can understand others better in future.

@Kuwaiti Girl Either you have no knowledge about geo-politics and power or you are having some really hard stuff to consider UAE as a regional power ...

UAE is just a satellite state of Saudi's however, they have managed their economy very well .... Besides economic power and source of income for expatriates UAE is nothing ...

This does not means that I dont respect Emiratis ... But in geo-politics they are mere pawn of KSA and USA ...

Now on overall situation this is very interesting is Geo-politics of the region is changing faster than expected ... Let me summarize other aspects as well ...

1) UAE has allowed Israel to open an office in UAE ... (I consider UAE and KSA have a single foreign policy)
2) KSA is having back diplomacy with Israeli intelligence ...
3) Despite being an ally of KSA, Pakistan is correcting its relationship with Iran ...
4) Relationships of Iran and Turkey are improving ...
5) Relationship of Pakistan and Turkey are highest ever ...
6) Egypt and KSA are also on different direction ...
7) The only thing positive for KSA is establishment of links with China and Russia ...
8) Remember, historically we had weak Iran and powerful KSA as a result of which there was no war as KSA dont want to attack Iran but now Iran is recovering and if Iran get wrong sense of power then it will definitely result in armed conflict ....

What I see going forward Pakistan to play a more neutral role in Iran KSA conflict which is already on a rising trend ... similar is expectation from Turkey and Egypt ...

Sooner or later Iran and KSA are going to fight which has a tendency to suck in other muslim powers such as Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan which is a nightmare scenario ...

I think its time for Iran and KSA to step back and think the way they are choosing means destruction of whole Muslim community .... I wish General Raheel Sharif could help here putting some sense into arrogant Persians and Sauds to highlight them the reality ....

@Khafee sir your insights and comments are requested as you have much more insights of middle east and specially UAE ...
