Drugs found at Boeing plant in Pennsylvania

Sir, what is the point of this post? Workers are normal people, and in any group of people, there are going to be those who abuse drugs...

isn't it a chance that it may affect their work and they can make some mistakes? and in this business especially, a little fault can be devastating. you as a pilot should know this.

Maybe. The thing is, with systems like this, the number of quality checks and inspections is huge... each and every single component and installation is checked, verified, re-checked, inspected again, you get the idea. By the time the aircraft is ready for delivery, it is good to go.

What you've got are some floor-sweepers, secretaries, forklift drivers, doing drugs. Not great but not unexpected.

In a group of 37 people you are bound to come across someone that will smoke the odd joint of take some sort of drugs. Statistically they say in fact 50% in our lifetime will in fact try something. I dont believe its a big deal. Nor do i believe any sub standard products would slip through.

Isn't it ironic that the rest of the world, even while not high, cannot come up with something like the Chinook or the Osprey, which are apparently made by a bunch of potheads in Pennsylvania?

I don't mind a joint as long as it's fresh stuff you know...:smokin:

But i would definitely not be near heavy machinery or a plant when i am high !
