I don't know which rock you've been living for the past three decades!
I never saw much overt support for Lashkar e Jhangvi in Pakistan.

Missing Musharraf....seriously!
May be you are right, because I am only telling what I have observed.
Just last election they were seen riding on highways in open trucks and no one was questioning them at any police post. It created quite a chatter in the electronic media and a furor in the opposition. Even Zaid Hamid was going ballistic about it. Personally, I have seen people supporting Taliban/TTP/Osama much more frequently than LeJ. May be Lal Masjid people have not been so vocal.
Just to let you guys know, LEJ representatives met with ISIS in Iraq a while ago, and here the LaWhore High Court is releasing the head of this organization.
I personally don't like that guy a bit, but this is one thing for which I will always praise him to no end. He knew very well that he could even be killed, and was attempted upon to, but he managed to rid the power corridors of religious fanatics - that was something not even touched by Kayani, and we are yet to see how Raheel Sharif's tenure goes. For now, he has surely taken some very brave decisions - much braver and wiser than Kayani.
They have connections so high-up that you can't imagine....... @ IG/DIG/SSP Police @ Judiciary @ MP's @MNA's ...... and worst, they have their own bankers. You have no IDEA what you're talking about. Btw, let's not forget the Armed forces - there are closet supporters in thousands.
Pakistan is a messed messed messed place. It will take many more Peshawars and perhaps elimination of almost all minorities that one day we all say "OH SHIT"
I thought they were mostly connected to the politicians and that's how they managed to run and act as freely as they did.
That bold part is why I admire Musharraf. He had cleaned the ISI of such mindless fanatics, who had infiltrated deep into the organization and were often the source of one conspiracy or the other against the Pakistani state itself.
Well, not everything is hunky dory, but are things really as bad as you portray? For the way you state it, it appears beyond salvation, but I think it's not as bad. The Army, howsoever infested, will ultimately have to look for its own interest, and that can come only from an organized nation. If not today, then tomorrow, ultimately the Army will have to weed these elements out.
Pak Army person even wasn't an Alim but he got what he was looking for! That TTP bitch failed miserably and painted a brutal Islam which nothing but a perfect match with Christianity propaganda that Islam was won by Sword.A very compelling debate by Taliban spokesperson..Pakistani army spokesperson was often at loss of words.
This is what happens one debates fanatic, who has absolutely faith in his actions .
Though does not paint a great picture of Islam, does he.
Arre bhai, get real! The swami you mentioned and his cohorts you claim are responsible for the Samjhota attack are a figment of your imagination. Nothing has been proved so far. The LeT's pet poodles out here like the IM were squarely responsible. You don't know extremists in your own society and worry about the one in Pakistan. It's shameful , you don't know Swami anad is the main suspect behind Samjhota express attack. Go worry about your own country

What are you talking about. man this is what Saudis man in pakistan said.
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Tuesday that each and every Terrorist of Saudis, will be protected by the state, irrespective of how many he has killed , sect or caste, that aren't Wahhabi are fair target. And that no cause is holier than protecting the life and property of the Terrorist.
