And when and how Babur is usefull for navy ?

Range of Shaurya can be exceeded upto 1900 km by reducing its payload

Just think again before comparing babur with Shaurya

Actually comparison of Babur with Shaurya is like comparison of apples with oranges. Babur is a sub-sonic and a 'TRUE' cruise missile with terrain hugging capabiity. But Shaurya cruises at an altitude of 40m so even thought shaurya is detected earlier it gives very less reaction time when compared to Babur as it travels around 7 times the speed of sound.

Range wise both are comparable...design and capability wise they are two different missiles.

Naval version of babur is under development.
moreover,Babur-2 supersonic cruise missile with more than 1000km range is expected soon.

Shaurya is a quasi ballistic missile and can be launched in a very short amount of time adding on it can be stored in silos and canisters hiding it from satellites since it travels at hypersonic speeds and is very maneuverable it is difficult to intercept all these factors makes it a very good weapon for 2nd strike

and don't count your chickens before they hatch Babur 2 is a myth and we'll see about that naval version of the cruise missile
