tamil and telugu movies have too much unreal violence, it might look better in cinematography and original plot but they handle the movies poorly.Bollywood is misrepresenting India. The world should take a look at Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films also to realize the far better quality of Indian films which has been scrutinized with Bollywood movies as a scale.
bollywood in 80s and 90s were the worst... bad acting. poor story.. dual meaning filthy dialogues... utter crap suitable for rickshaw pullers....bollywood makes me sick.

Pakistan is probably going to be defeated by India but with 99% certainty it is not the Indian Army that is going to prevail.
Bollywood will be the cause of Pakistani defeat. Such is the power of Bollywood. It is one thing that nobody, Pakistan military, Pakistani state or even the Mullahs can face off.
The trick is to speak only ur mother tounge in ur state,,,specially wid security personals,,speak hindi only whn they admit tht they cant speak the local lingo.Travelling through domestic airports is a pain. This CRPF's are Hindi-stani's and they enforces Hindi everywhere.
do u have bad experience wid rikshawalas?utter crap suitable for rickshaw pullers....

A cow in "bakra mandi" is named Shahrukh Khan.
Btw I don't follow Bollywood.![]()
first of all I dont watch a lot of bollywood.. not when I was kid...and not now.. I dont watch many movies in general.. but I do keep track of bollywood trends..@hinduguy I had to ask you since you're literally the only non-rabid hindu on the forum.
It seems like bollywood has really changed in terms of their content. In the 90's they would focus on North-Western Indian culture(which was somewhat relatable to me), but today it seems like they completely changed to UP/Bihari Central Indian culture. The last Indian film I saw was of Salman Khan as the police officer. The only thing that I could relate to in that movie was that they were using Rahat Fateh Ali's song.
Actually, I lied. The last Indian film I saw was with Fawad Khan, but it was even shittier than Salman Khan's film. What's with Indians trying to wear arbitrary t-shirts and trying to be hipsters in their films these days? I mean, you guys rarely ever had good plots in a film, but after watching Fawad's film I literally gave up on bollywood altogether. I used to watch a lot of classic Hindi films, but these days you guys are churning out absolute shit.
no... why do you think so?The trick is to speak only ur mother tounge in ur state,,,specially wid security personals,,speak hindi only whn they admit tht they cant speak the local lingo.

Acha,,,what exactly do u do in UK?

the salman khan / ajay devgan type movies were always there.. in 80s and 90s.. its possible that you were child back then and nostalgia is stopping you from comparing quality.
lets be honest, the majority of bollywood movies has always been crap... when I say crap, I mean not to my taste....
what is different however is, bollywood since 2000s has widened the story line(outside poor boy rich girl, love triangle, and lost in mela)... has added realism to acting(in some movies) and much less melodramatic.(relatively)
There is a bad trend too as you mentioned, copying south indian style moves which has no heads or tails(ajay devgan/salman khan)... its popular as bollywood never had these type of moves. (unreal stylized violence especially). I hope it goes away, but I guess it has got mass appeal(just like many mithun/govinda starrer did)
Also there is a trend of indie cinema that I like, earlier I was forced to watch arthouse/parallel cinema if I need alternative to bollywood.
no... why do you think so?
Oh okay. I used to watch a lot of Indian films in the 90's/early 2000's then fell off. In the 90's the bollywood films were based off Mughlai culture. Shit even today, they use Pakistani songs for their movies.
Look at this shitty rendition of Jugni:
The Indians made this song quickly after Arif Lohar's version.
They literally killed the soul of the song and poetry. Indians copy a lot of Pakistani music, but end up fucking it up by 99%.
