Is anyone a gold investor on this board?

Is it a good time to invest in Gold?

What do you think of the idea of spending x amount buying up x amount of Gold coins or bars as world economy is a bit shakey and brexit is around the corner?

I think it is good to buy gold but it should be in physical form and not limited to derivatives

Used to do futures. Not any more. A measly 16% increase in the last 5 years.

for now the price is very high 1400 euro for one ounce some time ago it was 1080 euros

it got more than 16% expensive in 3 months

but for one year it looks more great:

I would wait until it falls to 1200 dollar

As a Muslim u have to pay zakaat on gold. Hence investment in gold for muslims is not feasible.

you have also to pay zakat for yor money.. so holding money is not feasible.. but if you do than better with gold or else...

you guys should have looked into palladium in one year it went 57% up and in 3 years more then 100% but I do not know if it is reasonable to sell it
