What is his take on consciousness?

I have yet to read his other works. But I read somewhere he's also working on what makes certain individuals artists/musicians etc and others not.

Punishing someone for his crimes is natural and this happens in every country (secular and non secular). However if a few misguided people use law for their own interest and not for justice is a whole different topic.
