Might is right. ..Global powers only negotiate when the balance of power is strong in a country.
The large conventional armed forces and and a modest nuclear weapons capability is the real reason, that Pakistan has not ended up like Iraq, Libya, Syria etc
The kuffar world operate on the basis ' we want peace, shoot to kill'. Their ample examples have been demonstrated throughout history.
Pakistan needs to use its political, military, economic, psychological/ information warfare capability to reign IOK from Indian state terrorism on the Kashmiris. The world knows that during partition the muslim majority state was naturally a part of Pakistan.
In the princely state of Hyderabad the muslim leader wanted to join Pakistan - India objected due to the large Hindu population in the area. They asked the people to decide, who opted to stay with India.
In kashmir's case the Hindu leader of the province chose to be independent or join India (forced pressure). The majority people of kashmir were muslims who naturally wanted to join Pakistan - why did India not allow this? Because it new that it would naturally become part of Pakistan.
Again this issue was connived with the colonial power (British) and India - as they felt that the new state of Pakistan would not survive for too long.this was primarily due to the odds against it (weak finances, not received its allocated share of weapons for self defence etc).
Pakistan should never give up nuclear weapons, until all nuclear powers give their own up - there should be no double Standards. Not we can keep them but you can't mentality.
Nuclear Disarmament should occur simultaneously with all powers - as these weapons are horrendous. The lead needs to be started by the USA and Russia - the possesors of an insane number if nuclear bombs.
