May be Iam wrong ,but denel head in 2016 was saying Pakistan did evaluated ,it but NORA 52 for sure was in pk,

Pakistan Army has an inclination towards the Chinese SPH that was tested recently mainly because of the lower cost and the easier terms of payment spread over a number of years. At this stage however and owing to lack of foreign funds, ALL major procurement programs are at a halt

At IDEAS 2016, Burt Van Staade, Executive Manager, Business Development, Denel SOC (Ltd) told Exhibitors TV that the 155mm T5-52 artillery system has been successfully trialed & tested in Pakistan for the past few months adding that "We have done extensive mobility trials, we have done firing trials, we have also done a whole lot of trials in the mountains with our artillery piece".

Great and thanks for sharing with a source which always makes things easier. BTW PA was testing SH-15 from China and it also had great range, I think more than this one.. I guess PA tested many, one from an East European country (sorry I forgot both the name of the gun and the country...either Poland, Czech or Serbia etc) and Caesar. Will PA go for multiple guns for different areas/objectives (altitude, range, size, mobility etc)?

Yugoimport Nora B-52
Denel T5-52
Norinco SH-15

Will PA go for multiple guns for different areas/objectives (altitude, range, size, mobility etc)?

The emphasis is on SP howitzers, no new towed guns being purchased.

Tracked SP guns are attached to armoured formations, and also operated by artillery divisions.
Few M109 units have recently deployed to the Pak-Afghan border.

Wheeled SP guns are a separate requirement, may be absorbed by infantry divisions.
