MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 28th March, 2019) At least 15 people have been confirmed dead and 17 people injured in a car bomb explosion in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, local health services said.
Earlier in the day, the death toll stood at 11 people, while 16 people were reported injured when a car full of explosives detonated in the vicinity of the country's parliament.
"Today's Casualties Update: 15 dead, 5 of them were women. 17 injured civilians recorded," the capital's Aamin Ambulance wrote on Twitter.
This is already the second blast in Mogadishu over the past 24 hours, as a remotely controlled landmine blast killed two people and injured several others late on Wednesday.
