Happy Independence day to fellow Pakistanis.
I'm writing on this forum to be a voice of the sane & the quiet.
Pakistan's struggle culminated in a political settlement which in it's structure aimed at a peaceful resolution to the conflict. But unfortunately eventually ended up spilling the blood of the innocent by the merciless on both the sides.
What did those acts of violence achieve?
Do we, the generations of 21st century has the aptitude to learn from the mistakes of our past generations?

Keeping it simple.
The issue of Jammu and kashmir has the potential to engulf the whole region into this fireball of hatred. No party is going to accept that they have started the war (e.g false flag post at the LOC).By the time a vicious circle starts it will already be over for both the nations effecting millions of people in the neighbourhood.

So, the only workable solution of this issue is a resolution by political means. And it should be ensured that this time there is no blood bath arranged for the oppressed.

Is it going to be ideal for both the countries?
No, it can't be.There will be compromises. But are those compromises not more acceptable than extinction of all our race.

Stop being naively becoming an agent of destruction. The hawks always have their families and loved ones well secured , most the time abroad.Stop being an element that supports the powers who neither want peace & prosperity in our region nor they want to face the competition that we may be offering in future.

I urge the big regional powers both USSR and China for the good of their own to make and help our reckless and senseless politicians achieve a political exit out of this war mania.

On a lighter note...

Peace for all.
As you said it is not the hawks who will face destruction , either way, the masses have to stand to fight or be enslaved. Surrender is no option.

There can't be war to ensure peace this time courtesy the ground realities. The only way is a political settlement ensured by regional powers with a thorough understanding. The only way forward for both the nations is a compromise that would be the outcome of any political struggle.

Happy Birthday Pakistan. I truly wish we take a lesson from history and learn to live in peace and harmony. We have millions to feed who would have been much better today had we stopped spending billions on buying expensive weapons to kill eachother. Peace brothers. With love from India.

Peace for all.

In order to gain something, you have to lose something. If neither side is willing to make a compromise, then there's nothing to gain out of it.

OP is incorrect.

What next? Political settlement when AK is attacked?

How about when Hindu migrants gang rape a Kashmiri girl?

You have to draw lines in the sand. Once crossed, there is no going back from the path you are on. The line has already been crossed.

No options are off the table, despite OP's comments.

In 1947, Pakistan went to war because of Indian manipulations in Kashmir. The bloodshed wasn't just related to the transfer of peoples.

Pakistan and its protectors will fight for people who wish to be part of Pakistan. We will find a way. There will be no peace with the Hindutva state.

But if you can gain/lose it via political means or by war is an option sir.
Compromise is a bitter pill, i concur. But war is not a solution as it seems.

This "slave" thing, and "rape" thing is overdone and stupid. Never will happen.

I'm sure many people never imagined in their worst nightmares that Babri could happen, or Kashmiris infant could be raped in a Hindu temple, or cow lynchings or jayshreeram murders, or article 370 ...etc etc.

India's threat is very real.

You're just over thinking it. It's such a stupid narrative, that Indians want to rape or enslave the people there. They may dilute the population by having more people settle there, but that's about it and all I see happening, and that's what the Kashmiri people don't want: the dilution of their people, or for control of the state to be with centre instead of them.
