Deal Done, Iran to Get Mil Mi-28 Chopper, Sukhoi Su-35 Jet

I doubt the russians will deliver anything until the end of their war

They need these for their own war effort, and would be horrible domestic PR if they delivered them when their own army needs them

After the war the zionists in Russia and they have their share in all european/white countries, will scuttle any deal that may happen...

SU-35 is a huge leap for Iranian AF. Are these the Egyptian birds? Looks like Ukraine is exhausted......so I would expect all these new Russian arms production can be shifted to International customers.

Su35 is not good fighter in Russia Ukraine war destroyed by Ukrainian via soviet era SAMs

Its good only on paper, if Iran will buy J10CE from China its more advanced than Su35

And also mi28 is also overhyped platform
????? Flanker series one of the best 4th gen platforms. Mi28 with LMUR missile was destroying Leopards in Ukraine as if they were T-72's in Gulf war one.

Do russia really needs them in their "war" against Ukraine?

Iran’s Armed Forces say arrangements finalized for delivery of Russian military aircraft

Iran’s Armed Forces have finalized arrangements for delivery of a number of advanced Russian-made aircraft, including Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets, as Tehran and Moscow forge closer military relations.
Brigadier General Mehdi Farahi, Iran’s deputy defense minister, made the announcement in an interview with Tasnim news agency on Tuesday, saying plans have been finalized for Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets, Mil Mi-28 attack helicopters, and Yak-130 jet trainers to join the combat units of Iran's Army.

Farahi added that the three advanced military aircraft “will definitely arrive in Iran and the process [of their delivery] is currently under way.”
The Iranian general stressed that the Islamic Republic has the strongest fleet of military helicopters in the region in terms of quantity and has upgraded the capabilities of its choppers after several projects.

“In the field of helicopters, we have good capabilities; that is why we are the best in the region in terms of quantity, but the qualitative improvement of helicopters is on the agenda,” Farahi said.
The Su-35 fighter jet, powered by a pair of Saturn AL-41F1S turbofan engines, is capable of detecting an aerial target up to 400 km away and can track 30 airborne targets and engage eight of them simultaneously.

Mil Mi-28 attack helicopter, known as ‘Night Hunter’, has a speed of about 320 km/h and is equipped with two turboshaft engines, each producing 2500 horsepower.
The Yak-130 is a subsonic two-seat advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft originally developed by Russian aircraft designer and manufacturer Yakovlev. It can perform light-attack and reconnaissance duties, carrying a combat load of 3,000 kg.

Iran Army Aviation ‘strongest’ helicopter fleet in West Asia: Commander
The commander of the Iranian Army Aviation says the unit operates as the most powerful helicopter fleet in West Asia and enjoys state-of-the-art weapons and equipment.
Iran and Russia, as two close and strategic allies, have over the past years deepened their relations in various fields, including military and defense, despite being under heavy Western sanctions.

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri announced in September that Tehran and Moscow were working to draw up a long-term military cooperation agreement in the near future as the world was moving towards an increasingly multipolar order, which stressed the need for enhancement of ties between the two countries.
Baqeri emphasized the need for cooperation in training, exchange of cadets as well as staging joint military exercises.

Iranian military experts and engineers have in recent years made remarkable breakthroughs in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient.
Iranian officials have made clear that the country will not hesitate to strengthen its military capabilities, including its missile power, which are entirely meant for defense, and that Iran’s defense capabilities will be never open for negotiations.

They were destroyed by their own old SAMs by Ukrainian how its become one of best 4th gen jets if they are not stand in front of old soviet era SAMs

Comedy gold. The chinese are still not even able to build reliable jet engines and then have such a big mouth and plus mixing complete different things.

Btw: Late Soviet era SAMs are extremely powerfull, if used correct, like the Buk-M1 and S-300P. And this is completely disconnected from the Su-35, the J10 etc. and how good or bad it is as a fighter.

a) A fighter Jet is not only the radar.
b) EASA is not per se better and sure not in such a tiny jet with small electrical power ressources ...

Bro, we have already surpassed the threshold to make the top notch turbofan engine.

This is about Iran and Russia, and I believe that you guys will find a solution to solve this deal.

Don't bring China into this, and we have nothing to do with it.

the last time China imported fighter engines was in 2015. Hundreds of J-10s, J-16s have been in use for 10 years WS-10s. . .
According to Russian official data, the PESA radar mounted on the large aircraft Su-30 has a detection range of RCS 5 square meters targets of 130KM.
In contrast, the AESA radar mounted on the light aircraft JF-17 has a detection range of RCS 5 square meters targets of 170KM.

Not par on the western jets its a overhyped platform in Ukraine war Sukhoi Su-35 was destroyed by old soviet era SAMs by Ukrainian
3 losses, one of those to friendly fire from a russian s300.
The first shootdown was likely during an sead mission, one of the more risky missions for manned aircraft even against an older s300 system.
By comparison In a2a over ukraine the su35 achieved at least 7 victories, one involving the taking out of the the deputy head of the Ukrainian Navy Aviation Office.
In syria the su35 intercepted turkish and israeli aircraft on numerous occasions.
The su27 family has proven itself to be a very successful platform and the su35 is the ultimate development of that platform.
The su35-/irbis-e/r-37 combo is a very nasty one,and only an idiot would underestimate it,especially when combined with irans already formidable missile, drone and air defence forces.
This is bringing the iriaf into the 21st century and providing a much needed modern replacement for the f14,both in range and fire power.
