Although this is subjective but who knew that the DCS JF-17 was evenly matched to Mirage 2000C. Great simulation

Well that was F 16 V Mirage 2000.

This is JF 17 V Mirage 2000.

I watched this earlier today.

Although, in the end, it was 3 vs 3 kills for each fighter; but (to my civilian eye) JF-17 performed a lot better for the following reasons:

1. JF-17 scored two consecutive kills in rounds 2 and 3 (Mirage - 2000C could not do that).

2. JF-17 can improve even further in more capable hands - as he commented.

3. Mirage - 2000C appears to be the aggressor in this fight, hence should have had the upper hand being a superior aircraft pitched for an attack role. JF-17 denied the superiority.

Considering that this guy is a M2000 specialist and has knocked out pretty much everything out there, thunder knocked it out pretty bad.

Dogfights mostly depends upon the skill of the pilot. The gamer Growling Sidewinder is an excellent player of DCS. He first studies the plane's pros and cons and thwn use it to make the other player fight on its terms. Recommend watching his other videos.

Proves nothing DCS is a game thats all

Though fact is sd10 outranges MICA and mirages radars are too weak to use meteor..
All in all mirages wont match jf17 in air to air role ...even the block 2..
Had to mirages had meteor it would have been different story

But french had to make india buy "lots of rafale" so on purpose gace a half baked upgarde package removing meteor from the list in the end
