Karachi needs to be fully armed with citizens. So mobile chori and all that can be put to stop.

Lets face it, the police is a big joke.

& we all know who takes BATHAA and who made PPP remove Zulfiqar Mirza! so please save me the crocodile tears! and tell me before the 80s and rise of MQM why was karachi so peaceful??

Yes we know the real people that takes Bhatta. If MQM removed Zulfi Mirza then all of Karachi thanks them for doing it. Zulfi was behind all the target killings, he's associated with Lyari gangsters like Rehman Dakait, Uzair Baloch etc.
And Karachi might have been more peaceful before the 80s because then the population was low and also it wasn't as ethnically diverse as it is now. Also it was during the soviet war that Afghan refugees brought their violence with them to Karachi, they treated Karachi as it was Kandahar or something. And we all know the group of people that have glorified their gun culture and are proud of it.
Why was Karachi so peaceful during Musharraf's rule? MQM were ruling Karachi then, they could have done corruption and countless killings but instead they worked on developing Karachi.

keep rules like india only 3 guns allowed 112 gauge 1 rifle and a pistol (only if there is a life threat to the person) and yeah no automatic ones only semi automatic

is it allowed to keep semi automatic rifles in India??

As long as people consider it cool and macho to fire weapons during weddings, cricket matches etc this Gun culture will be there.

Even in the photo thread as a Pak member pointed out almost all Pak guys posted atleast one pic with a AK or other automatic rifles. This is not good.

is it allowed to keep semi automatic rifles in India??

No. Only pistols are allowed and that too only after you have proved to the Police you have a credible threat to your life.

fighting petty theft with arms??and the citizens need to br armed for that?? okay..ill take it as a joke :D

gun culture in nwfp and fata should reduce too, because these are the roots of the entire gun culture of karachi, all political parties should be scrutinised by law if they have weapons, they must be black listed, all the immigrants from outside to karachi city must be scanned for arms and if caught, they must be jailed for years.

also please raid the al asif square area and clean this area of afghani weapons depot

I read somewhere here on these forums - IIRC a thread by Mastan Khan (where is he these days?) - that the gun culture in Karachi didnt come from NWFP or even FATA. It was a consequence of student politics which went on to corrupt the entire political fabric of Pakistan.

NWFP and FATA have more to do with the Afghan situation, than internal Pakistani politics.

gun culture in karachi first came from afghanistan and nwfp, the immigrants from there brought here, anp wa in karachi much before mqm was formed

Just answer me this, Since when is Zulfiqar Mirza in power? and since when is this all bloodshed, killing and Bhatta thing going on in Karachi. Loyality is a good thing but stop being an idiot, for once use your head to think instead of your ears.

and these comments make you look like an idiot. Almost everyone is armed in Afghanistan, is that the kind of peace you want in karachi?

yes student politics between MQM and Jamaat-e-islami back then! now its MQM vs rest of the parties! and all parties have decided to take up guns inorder to compete with MQM...and beat them in their own game of terror!
