Daimler Chooses China's Haden to Build USD20.8 Million Smart Pipeline in Bremen

(Yicai Global) April 15 -- Daimler has awarded China's Haden Process Engineering with the pair's first contract to build an intelligent car parts production line for the Stuttgart-based carmaker's Bremen plant.

Haden will construct the EUR18.4 million (USD20.8 million) pipeline for anti-corrosion treatment of auto parts, as well as electrical control systems and supporting facilities for product transport, Haden's parent Shanxi Oriental Material Handling said in a statement. The project is scheduled to be completed next July.

The deal marks a breakthrough for the Changzhou-based firm's business in Europe, showing that its integration skills of smart production systems have been recognized by world-renowned manufacturers, according to the statement.

Most Indians are unaware of the progress China (and other neighbors) make in leaps and bounds.

They usually think in absolutes and absolute determinist way. They cannot think of change, not least rapid change. Hence, they are often stuck with repeating old stories. They absolutely believed in Western style democracy or market economics. They do not believe in change or adaptation.

Perhaps this is a good thing. At least, there is little to zero competition from their part. Vietnam brings in more competition.
