Its a tricky situation, I have asked around and generally family planning due to economic conditions is considered haram according to most Islam scholors because of Quran's verse which says something about killing your children due to fear of poverty. Certain texts of the Prophet also brag about having large number of Muslims on the judgement day so good luck convincing conservative Muslims to have fewer children. In Europe however many 2nd 3rd generation Muslims are having fewer children then their parents and grandparets had. Its actually a problem here when when of our religious leader actually talked against family planning.

Just look out of ur window,,,its a mela out there. Go to any traffic signal,look at there faces.
Or better,,,,just visit a govt. hospital,,go to the maternity ward,,flooded wid patients/attendents,sitting,lying on floors like animals,,,3-4 newborns in one single warmer,,i'm sure u will think that some epidemic has broken out.

This type of bullshit are being spread by south asian Mullahs only. Arab and middle eastern nations and even Turkey has low population and I have never heard any Turkish and middle eastern mullah encouraging overpopulation

You're right in some ways for example Iran depsite being ruled by Mullahs have a relatively small and educated population for its size. Maybe its something to do with South Asian Muslim culture and trying to be more Muslims then the Arabs. Its a strange behaviour, just keep making babies and don't worry about how you gonna feed them because Allah will do the rest but in reality they become a burden on the state.

Not possible. Humans are communal/social beings who are attached to certain communal/social values and order. If we leave religion and talk about ethnicity for example, then in many mixed race marriages, a girl/boy from one ethnic group is expected to follow the culture or social norms of their spouse. One may hate or like it but that's the truth.

Well, in India in certain business circles, political circles and film circles, mixed marriages have occurred without someone converting to their spouse's religion.

Also, I am a Socialist and so I don't have any hang-ups about some woman's born religious affiliation.

I’m not saying I BELIEVE that... what I was referring to was a combination of factors people in these communities may believe. For instance one .. that if pregnant then they should have the child as that’s gods will.( not mine) I’m talking about their belief system .
Just to clarify.. it’s not my belief system okay?
I’m all for 1-2 child policy if you are able to support them fully. I too believe that overpopulation is a problem. And I’m not getting into overpopulation cause & effect. I think we all know that. If you want to preach about what South Asian Muslims should Understand. Go ahead.
