well a nations debt is not like its a mortgage debt its a debt owed to share holders

for example UK owes its debt to the Bank of England and US owes its to the Federal reserve basically the national bank

however in Communist countries the finances are controlled a single party and totally different and can collapse at anytime

If a country can maintain its accounts then external debt is not an issue. However debt accumulation is luxury for developed countries whose external reserves can support that debt. For a country like Pakistan it is a curse and a surefire way to get bankrupt.

International Bond market I believe for both gov and private sectors. China private sectors may borrow from US and other western banks as well as I think the interest rate there is lower than in China, pretty much save since Yuan is strong, given by large trade surplus China has

Debt is the system by which the zionists have managed to enslave the West. I was happy to see that Pakistan and Russia were not on the list. I would hope one day that China is also out of that list.

Video has it wrong. China's external debt is ballooning lately.

China's outstanding foreign debt stood at around 2.53 trillion U.S. dollars at the end of March, data from the country's forex regulator shows.

The balance was 125.8 billion dollars higher than that at the end of 2020, up 5 percent, according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).

They talk about total debt of china and not external debt.fault with total debt is if someone has to pay then other might jave to receive this money within same economy. But to access the economic strength external debt is more reliable indicator

We can see interesting lesson in this video on how Indonesia becomes one of the largest foreign debt owners during 1990's and peak in 1996. Later Asian Financial Crisis hit Indonesia and it brought down our economy hard. Indonesia then needs to sell many of their asset to pay the debt.

Many of the victims include Texmaco Group that if not get bankrupt could become Indonesian version of Toyota.

Indonesia government is so stupid doesnt nationalize it. That was during Megawati Presidency who was very corrupt where one of his prominent economic minister ( Laksamana Sukardi) prefers Indonesia to focus on cheap labor based industry then high tech industry.

I said Megawati administration is so corrupt is proven by so many of their ministers ( including many of PDI-P party members in parliament) are in prison after SBY administration turned to power and strengthen Indonesia Anti Corruption Body (KPK).

Later Indonesia gov is getting careful on its external debt and manage it properly, this is why after 2000 you dont see Indonesia in the chard anymore (hopefully it will be the case in the future as well).
