ISRO is one of the few space organizations which have the potential to compete with NASA in the future!!!!!![]()
In the distant future that is.NASA is way ahead of us in almost every sphere.there is simply no comparison.

what a silly wet dream.
look at this PSLV, 3ton LEO, 1ton GTO, most space powers don't have such rocket, for example, China doesn't have any rocket in such low quality, low capacity range.
good luck Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), my sincere wish to see another Asian country to be sucessed in space
ISRO's just been nailin' it for India. Thank god, corruption seems to have it's boundaries when concerning Space Research. Best of luck to India!
You maybe correct, but consider if the need arises for specifically launching smaller and nano sats then such config is the most efficient and economical way to achieve it. You dont expect to use a space shuttle to launch mini sats. do you??
Regarding higher payload capability you are right that we are not there yet. But we are vey well on the right path.

I'm surprised, sometimes your talks make sense.a common pattern of india failure is:
proposal a great idea --> spend decades to build it --> refuse to actually build the foundation, just want the great outcome from nothing --> project in trouble --> refuse to acknowledge it --> project get delayed again and again --> the project no longer look fancy after decades --> buy western tech to integrate it into the project --> announce project to be successful.
Arjun
LCA
GSLV
all same problem
when there are 10+ failed Chinese jet program, when there are a few failed Chinese rocket program, don't you feel strange that none of the arjun/LCA/GSLV projets were announced as failure? .
yes, same old problem again: honesty and integrity.

I don't see why such a lightweight rocket need to be moved in this way.
we only do this with our biggest rocket CZ-2F.
