Don't get too excited, more will followed in coming years.

Yes, it will become new normal.
But let's party for this moment 8-)

Pakistan need Type075. so they can open a Div size force through Pak Marines on Enemy territory... How much troops can it carry and vehicles?
One unit ?? 700 to 900 troops? plus assault vehicles and 30 attack helis?

i am wondering when china will introduce VTOL plane like AV8B or F35Cs in its navy?

These ships will be tremendously useful in establishing beachheads in Taiwan or cutting Vietnam into two through the middle.

900 troops, thats the capacity of smaller Type 071LPD (25,000 Tonnes).

For this Type 075 LHD (40,000 Tonnes), some analyst suggest in normal times he can hold 1,600-2,000 strong Marines Expeditionary Units onboard.
With 30+ to 40 Rotary wings on his deck

If you ask, Yes this Type 075 LHD can handle VTOL Fighters.
But, their VTOL Fighters Project still in Development stage.
Let give them a couple years more :D Anyway, time is siding with the Chinese

@Daniel808 .. Thanks for sharing.. upto three squardons of helicopters.. 2 in attack roles and 1 in transport .. almost 1.5 battalion mariners is a game changer..

Pakistan can strech enemy lines by opening a front down with a Div size force down south between gujrat and marhashtra and can relieve pressure on main land .. This indeed is a game changer...
how are the marines nornally deployed ? do they have heavy tanks, and are more a mechanized units?

You mean Pakistan or Chinese?

From Pakistan, I don't know much.

But regarding China, their Marines Corps already have ZTZ 15 Light Tank, Amphibious Light Tanks, IFV, and many other toys.
Not MBT yet, I see some PLA-Ground Forces units training Amphibious Landing with Navy bring their own Heavy Tanks

But with Big Type 075 LHD coming around, and their Marines Corps Expansion Program on the way (from 20,000 to become 100,000 Strong Troops)

Sure, Heavy Tanks will come to their asset :D
