Clandestine operations and CIA-backed forces endanger peace in Afghanistan

Northern Alliance was there in 2001. It is there in 2019. It will be there in 2049

northern alliance is an informal name for the forces of Ahmed shah massoud and Burhanuddin rabbani ......... the only two mujahidden factions to oppose taliban ....... they were officially called United Islamic front ......... after 2001 it also started to include former communists of Najib era . and today is dominated by them ........... most of the afghan government now is made up of persian-speaking minority and taliban belong to Pashtun majority comprising nearly 60% of Afghanistan's population ...........its 2019 ...... not an era to be dumb about current political and strategic affairs

they lost the state of Afghanistan to 100+ special force operators and American air power
It happened in 2001. we can repeat it again in 2019. Maybe again in 2049.

I would not be so sure about it ...........
and again 100 special forces is an over glorified myth.......... just like 300 Spartans ..............
spartans were supported by thousands of Arcadians, thespians , cornithians, thebans and many more.......
same way 100 spec ops were supported by thousands of united islamic front men .........

My advice to Pakistani establishment is don’t abandon/isolate the Taliban again under US pressure because they are our brothers and we will need them again and again...The US on the other hand is a snake ...

Pusthuns are 42% of Afghan population. Not every Pusthun supports the Taliban. Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbeks, Turkmens do not support the Taliban. That is 48% of the population.

The Presidents of Afghanistan are Karzai/Ghani who are Pusthuns

I think Taliban have established the fact that they are not good ......... but neither is US and US-backed Kabul govt.(they have killed more civilians than Taliban)
In the end the decision must be an Afghan choice and not foreign implemented one (i.e like Kabul govt.)
as for applying Taliban policies in Pakistan ..... People have literally tried that...... Fortunately have realized they were wrong and hopefully have abandoned them .......

you are forgetting the fact that more Afghans (regardless of ethnicities) either reside in or are unavoidably linked to Pakistan (as admitted by Afghan officials themselves ...... at one point the Afghan Parliament had 60% of dual nationals Pakistan) Ashraf ghani himself is rumored to have spent early childhood in quetta ..... and that is before Taliban even existed ...........
Also more Tajiks and Uzbeks have joined Taliban ranks as evident from Talibans recent campaigns in the northern Parts of Afghanistan ..... consider the fact that nearly 1.4 million Afghans (predominantly pushtuns) currently reside in Pakistan legally and triple that number illegally......... it will all come into perspective when you will start considering Taliban a faction in the much older ongoing civil conflict in Afghanistan than considering them Terrorist organization ( which by the way they have proved themselves to be but so has the US-backed forces unfortunately).
