However, most Muslims believe that the words of the prophet (in the Quran or Hadiths) are for all eternity.

Instead of "better treatment of slaves", your prophet could have said "Thou shalt not own slaves at all". That slavery (ie, owning another human being) is vile and despicable. We know today, that that is the truth - any human owning another human is a horrible, despicable, condemnable concept - it is a pity that this did not occur to Mister Mohammad.

Quran said it in many places and encourages to free slaves. The reason slave was not fully freed as society structure wise was not in a position for that. People invested so much money to buy and owning slave. If slaves would have been freed what all the free slaves mostly woman and children would do, where they would stay? It could increase crime, prostitution in the society.

Islam propose a gradual phasing out. As first step all buying and selling of slave at local market was forbidden. Only the source of slave was war.

But concept of slave in Islam and as we see in the west are different. In Islam they are just like family member with equal right but not the case with the west.

Not Jewish ideology but Hindutvad. Around 3000 years ago - 1000 BC - is when the Hindu Aryans came into India from Iranic lands, subjugated the indigenous people maybe immediately or maybe in the coming decades and Manu composed his injustice-and-oppression-imposing mind's rot book called the Manusmriti which defined the atrocious caste system, the misogynist system and generally enabled the most extreme Capitalist system ever seen and which continues till now, 3000 years later. Most of the Hindutvadis now, whose elections-participating party BJP has been ruling India since 2014, want the Manusmriti to replace the generally progressive current constitution of India which was drafted by Dalit leader BR Ambedkar who later in 1956 converted to Buddhism in a public ceremony along with hundreds of thousands of his followers.

Yogi Adityanath is the current from-BJP chief minister of Uttar Pradesh which is India's most populous state and he is the poster boy of the Hindutvadis and is being projected to become India's next prime minister and is called Bulldozer Baba because he was the one who started the system of bulldozing the houses, shops and even commercial pushcarts of those that BJP hates or has as opponents, especially Muslims, and uses the unfortunately bendable laws in India to do the bulldozing. The laws can be bent because India wasn't established in 1947 through a Socialist or Communist revolution therefore the laws don't live within a framework of simplicity, empathy, localized, case-by-case and intellect based application but any Establishment-aligned and Hindutvad-aligned bunch of lawyers will find loopholes in the robotic laws to present a case to enable the Hindutvadi leaders to let loose the bulldozer. As an example of Hindutvad / Manuvad I quote the misogyny and suffocating views of Yogi Adityanath :

However not everything in Hinduism is evil and all. I like the wonderful concept called Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ( "The world is one family" ) which logically should mean every Hindu should align with modern Communism which calls for all of humanity to be seen as one people and calls for erasure of national borders and abolishing of national militaries. But unfortunately, sadly not is the case with most.

The hindus of BD are low caste, they have suffered at the hands of brahmins for thousands of years. We support their struggle against Brahmin hegemony. A few paid agents like this Kumar Nath guy don't represent them.

Wrong. Christianity discourages slavery and slavery was non-existent in the medieval Christian world. In the middle ages, it was only the muslims who practiced slavery. Slavery was also not prevalent in India but it increased due to muslim conquest of the Indian subcontinent. Moreover, do not forget it was the United States of America and the Great Britain who abolished slavery when the imams of the Ottoman empire issued fatwas proclaiming that abolishing slavery is unislamic.
